Teen Worker Assaulted with Brass Knuckles at Queens Store NYPD

Queens, New York — A shoplifter allegedly assaulted a teen employee in the face with brass knuckles while being escorted out of a Queens store last month, according to police.

On July 25, about 9 p.m., an 18-year-old worker was attacked in a shop at 88-01 Queens Blvd. The three suspects were being led out of the business when one of the thieves hit the teen in the face with brass knuckles, chipping his tooth, according to authorities. The victim was not hospitalized.

The shoplifters stole office equipment before fleeing the area, authorities added. There have been no arrests.

Officers from the 110th Precinct patrol the neighborhood, and robberies and misdemeanor assaults are up this year compared to 2023, according to NYPD data.
